Cut-to-length and slitting services for all hot rolled sheets from 1 mm to 26 mm thick can be provided through partner steel service centres. Pickled steels are produced by removing the scale layer on the surface of hot rolled products with hydrochloric acid (HCl) on a continuous pickling line. They are preferred where surface appearance and cleanliness matter for subsequent processes such as painting. Hot rolled pickled steels can be supplied oiled or unoiled according to customer preference.
